It’s taken me a while to find the time to sit down and write this, but here’s how April is shaping up so far…

BEY – Beirut, Lebanon Turn Around
LOS – Lagos, Nigeria Layover
MNL – Manila, Philippines Layover
MAN – Manchester, UK Layover
JFK – New York, USA Layover
DEL – Delhi, India Turn Around

Not as busy a month for April, but this is due to one of the runways at Dubai Airport being closed temporarily for scheduled maintenance. Anyway, kicking off the month is a turn around to Beirut, a long one and one I only just got back from this morning. I would love to swap this, but I know it’s not probably likely.

After this is Lagos in Nigeria. I have never been to Lagos as I really didn’t enjoy my layover to Nigeria when I visited the city of Abuja. I really should go and tick it off, but if something tempting comes my way on the swaps page I may accept!

Following on from this is Manila in the Philippines. I’ve been here a couple of times and is a regular pop up on my roster. I’m really not overly enthused for this and would love to swap, so stay posted for where else I could end up.

After this is an exciting trip to Manchester! Home for me, this is actually a longer layover and I’m deadheading back! For those of you who don’t know what deadheading is, have a look at my post to Stanstead where I deadheaded. So this will be nice and exciting! I originally had Birmingham, however someone sent me the swap as I helped to extend their leave by an extra two days. So it worked out well for both of us.

After this I have five days off where two of my best friends from home are coming to visit which is exciting! Followed by a flight to New York. I originally had a longer layover in Toronto, but I just recently visited back in November and this swap gave me one more day with my friends! Unsure what I’ll get up to, but I’ll hopefully see my friend Scott.

Ending the month is a turn around to Delhi in India and then that’s April done! It seems this year is running away, it doesn’t feel like two minutes since New Year’s Eve…
