That time of the month again, and despite it being my bottom bid month it’s not actually too bad! In February I shall be going to…
MCT – Muscat, Oman Turn Around
MCT – Muscat, Oman Turn Around
LGW – London Gatwick, Layover
ICN – Seoul, South Korea Layover
MAA – Chennai, India Turn Around
BNE – Brisbane, Australia Layover
AKL – Auckland, New Zealand Layover
Kicking off the month is two back to back turn arounds to Muscat in Oman. Same early morning timings, over two days. I’ve sent out lots of swaps for these two including every single UK layover that’s legal, so fingers crossed. There’s been a lot of rejects so far… keep your fingers crossed for me.
After this I have London Gatwick which is preferred over Heathrow. I originally had Munich which I did a couple of times back in October, so I was happy to pick up a London flight to catch up with family and friends.
Following on from this is a trip to Seoul in South Korea. I’ve only been here once before over two years ago and I didn’t do very much on the trip due to Korean Barbecue escalating into a night out in Gangam, so I’m very much looking forward to finally exploring. If anyone has any recommendations do let me know!
Next up is a turn around to Chennai in India, before back to Dubai for the weekend and then jetting off to Brisbane. I originally had London Gatwick and Oslo in Norway but I swapped for Brisbane so I could have five days off afterwards for when my friend Julie is coming to visit. I haven’t been to Brisbane since my very first month of flying back in 2015, so I’m excited to finally head back here. I also have some family that relocated to the Gold Coast which is an hours drive from Brisbane, so I’m looking forward to catching up with them and exploring a new city!
Ending the month with a trip to Auckland, another ultra long range flight and the longest flight that Emirates operates. Again, not been here since my first ever month of flying so will be nice to head back to New Zealand and explore a little more. One of my friends Jay recently moved close to Auckland, so fingers crossed we can catch up too, as the last time I saw her was in Beijing back in 2017!
And that concludes February. A wide variety that I’m really looking forward to, and fingers crossed I can swap those two turn arounds at the beginning of the month for a layover.ย As always, feel free to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for more daily updates:

Why did i only come across your incredible blog a week before moving to Dubai myself?!
I’ve read most of your training posts and i can’t wait to experience everything myself! (the post about your first flight made me feel kinda nervous about my own haha).
Also i’m really scared of the medicals, hope there’s nothing wrong with me!
Hopefully we’ll fly together one day ๐

So glad you liked the posts, hope thats a good nervous for your first flight though?! I’m sure you’ll pass the medicals just fine. Good luck with the big move and enjoy training college. See you in the skies!
