I don’t usually write on my trips to Manchester as I’m usually just popping home and there isn’t a great deal to write on. However, I have an exception for todays post. I flew out of Dubai at 3am landing into Manchester Airport at 7:30 in the morning, I was beyond excited for this flight though as I was picking up my Mum, Dad, Grandma and Grandad to fly them out to Dubai and spend the next 6 days with me, the only thing was is that my grandparents had no idea I would be on their flight! So it was sneaking around at home so that they wouldn’t catch me and blow the surprise right before it happened!

After having such a wonderful layover at home, I was waking up at 5:30am to head back to the airport driven by my lovely sister. I don’t think I’d ever been this excited for work in my life.

As I was positioned at the back of the plane (we all have different areas for pre flight checks and boarding etc), and my parents were sat up the front I kept checking to see if they have boarded yet, and as soon as I saw my Dad, I headed up to the front to surprise my Grandparents.

As it wasn’t a completely full load I was able to take both my parents up to the Business Class Lounge for champagne as it was their 28th Wedding Anniversary that day for some champagne and my grandparents which was nice.

I even arranged for a cake to be brought down for my parents to wish them well! Its really nice when you can treat your family at work.

Of course my Mum was very snap happy and taking lots of pictures of me hard at work, I was actually so busy that when we landed I realised the only time I’d sat down was for take off and landing!
