April 2017 Roster

Next months roster is here, and this is definitely the earliest we’ve ever received it. It’s my top bid month too, so I’d really been looking forward to see where I would be heading, and all I can say is that I’m rather a little bit disappointed… Anyway, in April I shall be going to:

CPH – Copenhagen, Denmark Layover
KUL – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Layover
MNL – Manilla, Philippines Layover
BOM – Mumbai, India Turn Around
CAI – Cairo, Egypt Turn Around
MAN – Manchester, UK Layover

So to say it’s my top bid month, there isn’t anything really major on there. I was so hoping I would finally see our Rio/Buenos Aires multi sector on there, but no such luck. I’m looking forward to Copenhagen, its a new city and country to visit. A couple of my friends have also studied there too, so I’m sure they’ll give me plenty of recommendations of things to do!

After this its KL, finally! I didn’t bid for this, so it was a lovely surprise to see this on my roster. I’ve been wanting to go for a while and I can’t wait to see the Petronas Towers or go to the Batu Caves, there’s plenty of sightseeing for me to tick off here.

I’ve just recently been to Manilla back in January, so I’m not in a major rush to return right away, although it is a 30 hour layover and would give me chance to explore the city and also get a massage… I’ve sent out a few swaps on the swaps page though, so fingers crossed for another new destination!

After this I have a couple of turn arounds, quite long ones actually! But in between this I have 5 days off where my Mum, Dad, Grandma and Grandad are coming to visit! I can’t wait for them to come and visit, and it will be great to show my grandparents around the place I live in. I think they’re going to have a shock when they arrive.

Ending the month with Manchester, always fab being home and its a Sunday too so I will definitely be having Sunday lunch! Hint hint Mum… Grandma…

Hi Jessica. I love reading your blog every week or so! Really great posts and love seeing your pics. I’m from London, and dream about working for Emirates. I’ve been checking the website every day for the last 3-4 months but the application seems to be closed. Any ideas when it will re-open or why it is not available? Lots of Love! Kerry

Hey Kerry, good luck with your application! Your kind words mean a lot and I’m glad you like my blog. They don’t constantly recruit just like any other company wouldn’t constantly recruit, unsure when they’ll be reopening as I’m not linked with that side of the business. I’m sure it will be soon though!
